I am passionate about advocacy for social studies and civics education and am here to help support Wisconsin educators in any way that I can. Talk to me about strategies for managing or implementing tech tools or creating authentic assessments and inquiry experiences. I love to collaborate, plan curriculum and construct purposeful, authentic learning experiences and assessments that focus on civic engagement. In my district, I work with colleagues to develop cross-curricular learning opportunities for students and enjoy organizing the process for curriculum development.

I am a CESA 1Civics Fellow and co-facilitated the work on the Wisconsin K-12 Civics Scope & Sequence. I am happy to support you with any questions you have about the scope & sequence or about ways to integrate civics and civically engaging learning experiences for students into your professional practice!

I love to travel, eat and cook amazing food, hike and run.
